This paper focuses on the effects of Soret, Dufour, heat generation, radiation, order of chemical reaction and viscous dissipation on a steady combined free-force convective and mass transfer flow of a viscous incompressible electrically conducting and radiating fluid over an isothermal semi-infinite vertical porous flat plate embedded in a porous medium. The partial differential equations governing the problem have been transformed by a similarity transformation into a system of ordinary differential equations which are solved numerically by using the sixth-order of Runge-Kutta technique alongside with shooting method. The behavior of the velocity, temperature, concentration, skin-friction coefficient, Nusselt number and Sherwood number for variations in the governing thermo physical embedded parameters are computed, analyzed and discussed.

There are several categories of adaptive materials, the best known are the \nshape memory alloys (SMA) and piezoelectric materials. These have a \nspecial feature to change their physical structure when you seek and find \neasily their original structure. Materials listed in this category have all an own \nmode of operating. Some of these materials are described as smart when they \nare able to keep a memory of their structure or to react spontaneously and \nautonomously to environmental changes. To better position the M3C in this \nfamily, we briefly recall the main features of adaptive materials: shape \nmemory alloys and piezoelectric materials. The M3C (Composite Material \nControlled Behavior) is a thermally activated composite material. In this \npaper, we present the mode of M3C and compare its performance with those \nof a piezoelectric material. To do this, composite beams on which are bonded \npiezoelectric patches MFC are compared with ordinary beams.

Thiaminee (vitamin B1) is a water-soluble vitamin. It is essential for the utilization of carbohydrates. Thiaminee pyrophosphate (TPP) is the coenzyme of carboxylase and is involved in carboxylation reactions in the body. It plays an important role in activating transketolase, an enzyme involved in hexose monophosphate shunt. In thiaminee deficiency, there is accumulation of pyruvic and lactic acids in the tissues and body fluids. This article aims at reviewing the function and metabolism of thiaminee on the basis of their use in biochemical reactions and to discuss its deficiency diseases
