Although great efforts have been made on development of high performance Li-ion batteries and fuel cells in the past, the slow power capability and high maintenance cost have kept them away from many applications. Recently, super capacitors have drawn great attention because of their high charge/discharge rate, long life cycle, outstanding power density and no short circuit concern. However, supercapacitors generally exhibit low energy density. Super capacitors, also known as Ultra-capacitors or electrochemical capacitors, store energy as electrical charge on highly porous materials. Currently one major challenge that keeps super capacitors from their promising applications is their low energy density. The recent fast development of super capacitors has benefited significantly from synthesis, characterizations and electrochemistry of nanomaterial. Conventional symmetric super capacitors based on activated carbon have intrinsically restricted energy density. A way around this might be to produce an asymmetric super capacitor, with a carbon cathode and transition metal oxide anode. However, initial attempts at such super capacitors have been limited by kinetic considerations to very thin electrode films, which result in a relatively low energy density. Therefore, building super capacitors with both high energy density and power density remains a challenge for materials scientists.

Abstract	Read More... The second language learner persistently finds meaning to concrete and abstract objects that abound him. People who have difficult time verbally communicating can end up in confusing and frustrating situations. Ineffective verbal communication can lead to difficulties in interpersonal relationships. The learner’s breadth of knowledge is basically attributed to his motivation and strategic system to address his immediate needs as a social being. Using verbal activities and schemas in definition is a fun and creative way to strengthen verbal skills. Employing descriptive design, this study aimed at determining the extent of cognitive imperialism among BSED-English students of Nueva Vizcaya State University,Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines, SY 2014-2015, and its impetus on socio-linguistic perceptual intelligence. This educational venture unveiled the extent of cognitive imperialism among respondents through their verbal activity and use of varied patterns of definition like referential, structural, pragmatic and paralinguistic meaning of English words. Significant findings transpired as the extent of cognitive imperialism was tested with its relationship on socio-linguistic perceptual intelligence along metacognitive, cognitive, motivational and behavioral intelligence, thereby indicating favorable degree of maturity, awareness or the capability of the respondents to grasp more directly what happens around them, thus think and act more appropriately.

Information system resources are very important assets that need to be protected properly through an information security management system (ISMS).An ISMS is a set of policies or Information Systems related risks concerned with information security management. Information security should be considered as a business enabler and an integral part of a business as it helps to raise the trust of customers and partners. It also helps to allow an organization to use new technologies effectively for a greater commercial success. To manage information securityeffectively, the compliance to an ISMS standard is required. There are several ISMS standards available such as PRINCE2, OPM3, CMMI, P-CMM, PMMM, ISO27001, BS7799, PCIDSS, COSO, SOA, ITIL, and COBIT. Unfortunately, with a variety of reasons, some of these standards are not well adopted by the organizations. This paper will discuss five widely adopted ISMS standards, ISO27001, BS 7799, PCIDSS, ITIL, and COBIT. A comparative study on these standards to determine their respective strengths, focus, main components and their adoption and implementation will presented in this chapter.
