Because of the availability of large pool of information over the World Wide Web, individuals mostly prefer to carry out online transactions. For retrieval of information, people usually rely upon search engines. But there exist numerous unwanted repetitive web pages that escalate time complexity and indexing space issues, hence identifying and eliminating such pages becomes a necessity for the communities responsible for information retrieval and web mining. There exist few search engines that adopts data filtering algorithm capable of removing duplicate and apparently near-duplicate documents that aids in saving users’ time and effort. With a massive amount of applications, detecting near duplicate pairs is a challenging issue. The current research proposes SWP-RMA (semantic web page based rule mining algorithm) for the identification of duplicate/near-duplicate web page content concerning online search engines. The approach of Semantic data (content) basically examines and classifies the application of diver’s web mining methodologies concerning various semantic webs in terms of analytical framework. The proposed approach involves following processes: Preprocessing, Clustering via FCM (Fuzzy C-means), Classification, Identifications and Elimination. The main aim of the research being to find duplicate/ near-duplicate web page content relying upon semantic data in online search engine thereafter simulate and compare the performance of available techniques with the recommended SWP-RMA (semantic web page based rule mining algorithm)considering the accuracy and efficiency factors. The proposed approach of SWP-RMA yields effective result compared to rest of the existing techniques.
Abstract: Background: Partial laryngectomy is a treatment method allowing maintenance of person’s social and physical functions in early-phase larynx cancers. Our purpose in this study is to identify levels of quality and function losses occurred in the voice of patients who had partial laryngectomy. Methods: Studies were carried out on 30 male patients who had partial laryngectomy and randomly selected 30 healthy volunteer male subjects. Patients are examined in four groups: cordectomy, frontolateral laryngectomy, supraglottic laryngectomy and supracricoid laryngectomy. Voice quality analyses were compared by using vocal assessment software with forms filled by voice handicap index participants, upon determination of roughness, airiness and hoarseness levels of voice and all vocal parameters. Results: Fundamental frequency in cordectomy; jitter in cordectomy, frontolateral and supracricoid shimmer value in all of the the partial laryngectomy are found significantly increased (p< 0,05).Conclusion: Patients who had partial laryngectomy are faced with a certain function and quality loss in their phonation.
