Finding the maximum flow between the source and destination nodes of a network with uncertainties in its flow capacities has many applications in different domains such as electrical powers, traffics, communications, computer networks and logistics. The maximal flow problem is also reckoned as one of the classic combinatorial optimization problems and hence gradually becomes the area of interests for the researchers and engineers. In this paper the classical Ford-Fulkerson algorithm for maximal flow problem has been modified to find the maximum flow of an network where the flow capacity of each arc is expressed as canonical trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy numbers(canonical TrIFNs) which is the most generalized form of Trapezoidal Fuzzy Numbers(TrFNs) consisting of degree of acceptance and degree of rejection. The Modified Ford Fulkerson Algorithm (MFFA) proposed in this paper uses the concepts of Center index and the Radius index of canonical intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy numbers which along with a degree of optimism of decision maker is used to find the ranking index among the intuitionistic fuzzy flow capacities of the network. To evaluate the validity of the proposed algorithm a numerical example is presented where we compare the results of maximum flow of crisp network with that of an intuitionistic fuzzy network.

In this study an optimized operation and management of microgrid (MG) in distribution systems with multiple distributed generation (DG) units under two different market policies is presented. At the first market policy, it is supposed that DG is under ownership of Distribution Company and in second scenario it is assumed that beside the micro grid, DG is a private sector under market too.\nThe DG type used in this study is micro turbine. The effect of type of ownership of DGs in distribution system as public sector or private sector on optimizing micro grid as grid connected is accurately evaluated using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) based method. In this paper a multi-objective formulation for optimal sizing of renewable energy based micro grid including PV/WT/Battery in distribution systems in order to minimize total cost of system under pool electricity market operation is presented and discussed. The optimization algorithm is applied to a typical LV network operating under pool market policy.

Now a days the roads are getting damaged due to improper maintenance of top layer of the road and no bond strength between the bitumen and coarse\naggregate . To prevent this kind of defects and to increase the strength of bitumen in our work we are using fibres .The study includes mixture of glass and\ncoir fibre to increase the strength parameter of the bitumen. The bitumen used in the study has a penetration grade of 30/40. In the present study, an\nattempt has been made to study the effects of use of a naturally and locally available fibres namely sisal and glass fibre which are used as stabilizer in SMA (Smart Mix Asphalt) and as an additive in BC(Bituminous Concrete) . Binder content has been\nvaried sequentially from 4% to 7% and fibre content is varied from 0% to 10% of total mix. As a part of\npreliminary study, Coir fibre has been found to result satisfactory in Marshall Properties and hence has\nbeen used for mixes in subsequent works. Using Marshall Procedure Optimum Fibre Content (OFC) for both BC and SMA mixes was found to be 10%. Similarly Optimum Binder Content (OBC) for BC\nand SMA were found to be 5% and 5.2 %\nrespectively. The testes are done based on IS 1201-\n1220(1978).

Medicinal plants are widely used for therapy of various diseases and disorders due to presence of different bioactive phytochemicals. C. tamala possess higher polyphenols (16.7 ± 0.7 g/100g) than A. marmelos (6.7 ± 0.61 g/100g) and flavonoids occur in lowest quantity (1.0 ± 1.01 g/100g and 0.9 ± 0.25 g/100g in C. tamala and A. marmelos respectively) Leaf extract of both plant are effective against S. aureus and P. mirabilis (6-10 mm ZOI and 100% inhibition at 0.25mg-5mg of leaf extract in broth dilution method) and possess high (0.9%-4% and 0.2%-7% for A. marmelos and C. tamala respectively)antioxidant activity. However the plant extract were non toxic, hence they did not show haemolysis at 0.2 mg/mL-1mg/mL concentration.
